Chapter
President Patricia Dollins welcomes you to the online home of the Wisconsin
Chapter of CRS!
A Message from the President:
As I sat in this year NAR/CRS MidYear Meetings in D.C., I got to thinking
about a book that I saw at the
airport book stand titled ‘212 Degrees: The Extra Degree.’ This book describes
the difference between
hot water and boiling water to illustrate how just a bit of extra effort can
produce BIG results.
So, how does this relate to our business in real estate? I was wondering if some
of us would admit to
having warm water, hot water or boiling water efforts being produced in our
challenging markets. What
difference would it make to our bottom lines by adding just a little bit of
extra effort? I’m convinced
that all of us CRS’s could produce ‘boiling water results’ by just revisiting
our CRS roots: let’s refine the
skills we learned while obtaining our designation.
Let’s remember to be life-long learners, both personally and
professionally. After all, we are the Phd’s of real estate.
If it’s been 5 years or more since you’ve received your designation, consider
re-taking the core courses that CRS offers – they have all been reworked to be
relevant to TODAY’s real estate environment. If
you’re a Chapter member but have not attended a general membership meeting
recently, then by all
means make it a priority to come to the WRA State Convention (Sept. 9-11) and
come to the annual CRS
General Membership Meeting.
I know you all love referrals and wouldn’t turn one
down if it came your
way –so let’s remember the core benefits of becoming a CRS…networking, referrals
with professional
designees and a continuing strategy of education, education & education.
I’m committing myself to ramping up to a boiling business………..what about you??
